ChINeSE NeW yEaR - dAY 8
I almost forgot that I an appointment with Diana today. Luckily, I had a hunch yesterday that I seemed to have forgotten something. The venue was East Coast Park. I chose it because it has been a while since I have been there. I also missed the sea.
The weather was pretty sunny today. The sea glimmered under the brillance of the afternoon sun. I had a good time admiring the beach while we strolled and caught up with each other. The initial plan was to walk to the hawker centre and then have something light there (since we've both eaten lunch). But, the weather was too hot and I did not want us to end up drenched in our own sweat *holds nose* . Thus, I suggested Mac's which was nearby.
Diana grabbed a McSpicy meal while I wanted to cool down a little first. I realli hate the newly introduced McSpicy Extra Value meal! What is Mac's thinking?! This is not the way to cut costs! You think we, consumers are supposed to buy your "ONE chicken fillet is now thicker and juicier" crap?! The McSpicy Double used to be my favourite Extra Value meal. I was shocked when I was told while I was ordering that they had changed it to a single "thicker" fillet. Why do we have to pay the same price for something that is of lower value? It is ironic that is called an "Extra Value" meal! I hope that some MacDonald's personnel will read this and revise their whole pricing system. Hopefully, they will bring back my favourite Extra Value meal soon! *wishes*
We talked about lots of stuffs since it was a long time the last time we met up. I ordered a Choc Hot Fudge sundae when my mouth started itching *grinz*. I was browsing through Diana's phone and I realised that she has lots of nice pics! So.. I started transferring those nice ones to my phone! *lol*
*time flew*
We started strolling back to Parkway Parade because we needed to get our buses from there. I took 36 to Orchard because I was meeting my mum there to attend some travel agency talk. But, it turned out to be a scam! They said their presentations were customised for couples. They did not allow my mum to attend it just because my dad was not around. I find that the reason was crap! I felt insulted and my mum got pissed and we left. *cool*
We made our way back to tamp to meet my sis for dinner. On our way home, we were talking about gers suffering from menstrual cramps. This was the conversation as follows..
Sis : I can't wait to reach menopause! Then, I won't have to suffer the pain of these cramps! *winches*
Me : You xiao ar?! You think menopause very nice to play ar?! I tell you.. Menopause is worse than what you are experiencing now.
Sis : Si mehz? How worse?
Me : Of cuz larz.. During menopause, women are more suicidal and their hormones go chaotic causing them to have extreme mood swings (now you know why female teachers in their late fourties are so detestable *lol*).
*sis ponders and mum listens to our conversation (obviously amused)
Me : But.. there is a cure for your cramps larz.. Then you need not experience them again.
Sis : Huh? What is it?
Me : Hmmz.. Get pregnant lorz.. Then you need not go through the cycle for a year! *lol (I was almost rofl by that time)
*sis gives me "tiaow" look and my mum started smiling
Me : Hmmz.. So you every year give birth to one then can le. Very soon, you will be holding the record for giving birth to the most number of babies. *lol*
Sis : You mad ar? Give birth also very pain lorz.. You think i what? Mother pig ar? *sis makes the ploop ploop sound* then come out already ar? *rofl*
Suddenly, the two words "mother pig" struck me. We used to joke about how mnay kids we wanted in future. *sighz* When we reached home, everyone did our part by doing our research on the places of interest in New Zealand. When we were done, it was already 12+ le, that is why I am blogging so late. *yawnz*
i'm like a living zombie stuck with a cabin of other zombies who stare blankly into space..
